Less than 2 hours drive from Sri Lanka's capital Colombo, Ahu Bay is perfectly situated on the shores of Ahungalla Point. Nestled between two pristine, secluded private beaches lined with coconut trees, Ahu Bay welcomes guests. Fringed by picturesque boulders, with unparalleled 180-degree panoramic views of the endless blue sea, guests are treated to magical sunsets.

Staying in one of the ten Bay View rooms or in one of the three Bay View Suites with and without pools, all offering unobstructed views of the bay, guests experience the Ahu Bay synergy between authentic, relaxing beach life and contemporary elements that instantly transport them away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. If more space is needed after all, the two residences are ideal for that. The Bay View Pool Residences are self-contained villas consisting of a Bay View Pool Suite on the first floor and two Bay View Rooms upstairs. Ideal for a family or group of friends with up to 6 adults.

Ahu Bay is also home to the enchanting sea turtle "Olive Ridley", an endemic breed in Sri Lanka. Every year during the months of December to February, the turtles return to the beaches to lay their eggs. Ahu Bay makes it a point to show guests the importance of protecting and respecting these wonderful and serene animals in their natural environment with in-house breeding and conservation programs.

Of course, Ahu Bay also offers world-class Sri Lankan and international cuisine with the intention of nurturing and nourishing not only the body, but also the mind and spirit. The chefs are dynamic, talented and passionate about what they do. Each brings together a unique sense of skill, inspiration and food philosophy.

This ideology is also embodied in the Sanctuary Spa offering holistic therapies with natural ingredients and nurturing practices. The spa menu draws inspiration from traditional healing practices, the deep blue ocean, and a rich collection of trans-regional herbs and spices.
